The problem
Traditional credit scores completely ignore freelancers and gig workers because they don't have regular corporate payslips. While open banking apps can fetch their real account data to prove they are reliable, this data doesn't arrive all at once. It trickles in from different places at different times. If a user tries to apply while the system is still waiting on half of their information, the system breaks, crashes, or makes a credit decision based on an incomplete profile.
What I did
I built Mono-Parser, a smart engine that securely gathers and organizes all these scattered financial pieces before a decision is made. I changed the workflow so the platform forces the main user account to be created first, locking everything in place. Then, I set up a background queue system that patiently collects the income data and statement history at its own pace. It retries automatically if there's a delay, and natively blocks duplicate requests so the system doesn't get overloaded or hit with extra fees.
The result
Lenders can now confidently look past traditional credit scores and instantly assess high-earning freelancers, contract developers, and gig workers who were previously invisible to the system. By assembling a multi-dimensional, fully auditable financial snapshot for every applicant, the engine gives loan managers the exact data points and stack metrics they need to confidently say "yes" or "no" to a loan. This opens up a massive, untouched segment of disciplined borrowers while keeping risk entirely predictable.
